Support for improving the productivity of integrated agro-industrial parks and for youth employment (PESAPYE)

The Productivity Enhancement Support to Integrated Agro-Industrial Parks and Youth Employment (PESAPYE) project is an integrated agricultural productivity and youth employment project that aims to strengthen agricultural value chains around Integrated Agro-Industrial Parks (IAIPs) through the development of irrigation infrastructure, sustainable watershed management, and entrepreneurial support for young graduates (agripreneurs). It seeks to provide a consistent supply of raw materials to the agro-industrial parks while creating sustainable commercial agricultural enterprises and rural employment.

🌾 Increased agricultural productivity:
Develop irrigation and sustainable land management around Integrated Agro-Industrial Parks (IAIPs).

👩‍🌾 Employment for young agripreneurs:
Support agripreneurs through training and modern technologies (Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation - TAAT).

📈 Strengthening marketing:
Link agriculture to agro-industrial parks to add value and facilitate exports.

🤝 Promoting inclusion:
Fostering economic growth and social cohesion through the pillars of the Ten-Year Development Plan.
