Description

The Jiunue Growth Program is a multi-partner initiative (Mastercard Foundation + GBF + financial intermediaries and civil society organizations) designed to bridge the funding gap. For MSMEs in Kenya, this approach combines access to finance products (microcredit, SME loans, digital products), tailored technical assistance (training, mentoring, post-loan support), and capacity building for local stakeholders. The approach focuses on youth and women entrepreneurs, with an intervention strategy that combines financing and support to make businesses "investment-ready" and capable of subsequently absorbing commercial capital.

Strengthening the resilience of MSMEs Combining credit and technical assistance to improve financial governance and business sustainability. Creating job opportunities for young people Supporting business growth in order to generate direct and indirect jobs. (impact target mentioned by the Mastercard Foundation).
